Michael Keaton, an American actor and producer best well-known for Birdman. A versatile actor he is proficient in comedy in addition to dramatic characters. A multi-faceted actor, he is also adept when it comes to dramatic and comedic roles. His passion for the performing arts started when he was in his teen years. He began to try stand-up comedy in his early 20s. Although his stand-up show did not go well, it helped pave the road for his acting. Unable to find success in the field of comedy, he picked up a job as cameraman for a TV cable channel. This job was where he discovered that it was his dream to be on camera. He was then able to secure a TV role, and he appeared in numerous episodes in Mister Rogers Neighborhood. So it was not a surprise the actor quickly gained a following as a well-known television actor. When he began his film career his aspirations were high and became well-known for his comical role. He earned further acclaim for his portrayal of the famous character as Tim Burton's Batman. In time the actor's acting abilities were improved, and he started exploring the possibility of directing and production. In the film Birdman (2014) the actor was awarded numerous nominations and awards.
